Demonstrate the legibility, characteristics, and historical significance of the typeface.

I've developed two designs, drawing inspiration from the era in which Baskerville was created. My aim was to present a vintage aesthetic while still maintaining a modern touch, emphasizing the classic and trustworthy qualities of Baskerville, and highlighting its role as a bridge between different eras and styles.

I played with the idea of dissecting the Baskerville typeface, ultimately opting for my initial design as I felt it had a more balanced composition and layout. However, I decided to incorporate elements of the dissecting concept into the final design.
